Karis finally got her car! We have been waiting since Christmas for this sucker to come to our Walmart so we could take it home, and it came! So, we picked it up and brought it home and now trying to figure out how to drive the thing is the fun part. She can't quite figure out how to drive in a straight line, it's one direction or the other, sometimes forward and sometimes back. And, oh, boy, mailboxes are so much fun to run into! But then she'll get out of her car, raise the hood and make sure everything looks ok, check the tires and make sure they're ok, then she'll climb back in the car and play with the radio and drive right into the next mailbox and do it all over again. We haven't had to make a claim with the insurance yet . . .

Outings are so much more fun when we can savor them through a child's eyes
Karis finally got her car! We have been waiting since Christmas for this sucker to come to our Walmart so we could take it home, and it came! So, we picked it up and brought it home and now trying to figure out how to drive the thing is the fun part. I always wanted a car like that when I was a kid, never got one. Of course, Molly wanted one and never got it either. Guess you're the "fun Mom".
Well, thanks and I'd love to take credit for that but . . since we flew in for the holidays, I forced everyone to give us money (less to ship back) and so this is a combined Christmas present that she finally got three months later.
