Fabulous Las Vegas

I've always assumed that I wouldn't like Las Vegas, no one's going to drag me there ~ there's-nothing-in-that-town-for-me-if-we're-going-to-drive-six-hours-lets-go-to-San-Diego. However, Chris was sent on a TDY there this past week and since it was so close, how could the kids and I not go see him, especially for Mother's day? So, we packed up and went to visit him. And, boy is that place somethin'. We had a great time! As you can see, we went to the strip and here we are in front of New York New York, we went to M&M world, saw circus acts at Circus Circus, saw people getting married in lion costumes at the lion habitat in the MGM Grand. . . and the list goes on! Now, just for the record, still not a big fan of the things that make sin city sin city, but focusing our attention on all the free family stuff was definately worth going, especially when it's all associated with the word free.
