102.6 degrees

Yesterday Karis woke up and said she didn't feel good. I took her and babied her like many moms would and after a few hours of momma lovin' said she was just fine. Then she started saying she didn't feel good again, but seeing how well she aggravated her brother a few minutes earlier and remembering how quickly she got better earlier I told her she was fine. Then about 3am she woke up crying hot and thirsty with a temperature and has had one since then. No other signs of anything else, no cough, runny nose, but no energy to show any other symptoms. So, I've taken advantage of that and introduced her to movies I used to watch at her age like Muppets take Manhatten. Guess we'll see how she feels later this afternoon when soccer practice comes, although I suppose a temp. like that can't be merely pretending to be sick.

Update: She's feeling much better today with no temp. just a nasty cough.
