We had so much fun visiting M&M world. . .

You wouldn't believe what that bag of M&M's cost if I told you. Really. You'd pass out.
And you only think I'm joking.

I know Karis has her eyes closed, but it's the only picture of us all together in Vegas, and there was a long line of people waiting to take their pictures with such a huge celebrity!

We did other things in Vegas, like eating at the Rainforest Cafe.
Silas claims this was his favorite part of the whole trip.
The waitress walked up to see how we were, ect. and he immediately pipes up and says 'I'd like the chickens please and my sister wants pizza with water. My dad wants soda and my mom wants milk, too.' He didn't stop talking to her the entire meal.

And something you only see in Vegas. I know these aren't good at all, but I had to show proof - an underwater Santa!

The real reason we were in Vegas was for Chris to run the half marathon. He did it in 1hr. 52 minutes. Not bad, I'd say, seeing as how I can't run 1.3 miles! He's trying to get me to sign up and train for a 5K. I want him to take ballroom classes with me in return. I don't think that's a compromise he's willing to even think about. He is looking forward to running more half marathons, though and looking for different cities to run them in, so who knows where to next!
Last, but not least, we got to see Chris' uncle John. Haven't seen him in four years or so and I didn't take any pictures! What was I thinking? He just happened to be working while we were visiting. We got just a few minutes' window to visit and let him hold Caedis. He came right after we got back from seeing the Tournament of Kings show.
Which means we had some rowdy kiddos.
Especially since they woke up extra early that morning for the race. And the morning before that because in Vegas the sun never quite goes down, it seems.
If your kids haven't been taught to wake up when the sun rises, their Nana just hasn't done them right. That's just something Nana's do.
