Chris' son

Silas woke up this morning and immediately took off his button down pajama shirt (that he can never get off without help, mind you) and changed.

He apparently dug through his shirt drawer, found two short sleeved OU shirts and put them both on. One over the other. All his other shirts were now crammed back in the drawer with the drawer half shut.

When he came and found me I asked what he was wearing and ever so casually he says he's wearing his OU shirts. Like it's an everyday thing for him to wear two and for him to change upon waking all by himself. I'm of course thinking it's more laundry I get to do.

Throughout the day he took them off, changed into another OU shirt.

And when I sent him up after dinner to clean his room? You guessed it. Another OU shirt.

At least he's learning to change his own clothes, if I'm really wanting to see the silver lining here.

Now for lessons on folding and how to do laundry. . .

Karis now has 12 pairs of shoes.

That has nothing to do with anything else in this post other than I just helped her put away the shoes that are too small and pull out the new shoes from her closet.

She's learning early, you can never have too many shoes. :)
