Get what you pay for?

Last year we had a bird build a nest on our porch.

I was told that to keep them from returning I should paint the porch ceiling sky blue or put rubber snakes around.

Paint was $20 a can. Rubber snakes were $.88. Not a hard decision.

Guess we just have smart birds.
