Karis lost her first tooth! She told me her teeth hurt and one was loose (but since she's been claiming that for a while I didn't really check it out - you've heard of the boy who cried wolf, right?). So my mom being as caring and compassionate as she is, checked her teeth and sure enough, one was loose! It stayed in there for another 10 days as she said she was wiggling it, but I think she was afraid of us pulling it after the stories we told her of pulling our teeth.
For Easter this weekend, on Saturday we went to an Easter Egg Scramble on base and Karis got an entire basket of eggs! Silas got a few and was satisfied with what he got, so everyone walked away happy! Then we spend Easter Sunday eating and trying to teach the kids that even though the eggs and bunny are fun, that's not what Easter is about. When we got home from church, I forgot to take our picture with everyone dressed up until we had changed and were eating lunch, so next year, I'll have to take those before we leave the house!
Other than that, I've been growing a baby and we've gained 42 lbs. so far (gasp!) and still have about 9 weeks to go. So if anyone can tell me where I can pick up one of these shirts
we'll be all set! (Assuming of course that the '2' for '26th' is hiding on the side.)
