the first part

Our trip so far has been pretty good. We began with a road trip a few days ago to drop off the kiddos and stopped by and surprised Chris' grandmother with a visit. She was warned a few minutes before our arrival, so she had plenty of time to jet or pretend to be asleep when we got there, but she stayed! Brave, brave woman! We had such a great time seeing her. Silas showed her all about karate and what he's learning. And her room's not that big, so that was a lot of fun!

We left there and went to my grandma's house and she's been having as much fun as the kids. I also learned that my niece has some kind of gravitational pull on my lens as most of the rest of the pictures I took are of her. She's so stinking cute!

This is the fun I was talking about that grandma's having. She was teaching the kids how to blow bigger bubbles, more bubbles, and testing all the wands to make sure they all work. . . we have the best grandmas!

Since we hadn't had enough fun at this point we thought we'd get all the kids together for a photo shoot. And that was enough fun to last for weeks let me tell you!

Tomorrow we are off to Paris!
